About us
Over 65 Years of Innovation and Expertise
It all began in 1957 with the creation of a mineral processing research group, then attached to Quebec’s ministère des Ressources naturelles, and the launch of the first pilot plant. In the 1960s, this group officially became the Centre de recherche minérale. Then, thanks to a visionary collaboration between the mining industry and the Quebec government, Corem was established on September 27, 1999. Since then, Corem has evolved through the commitment of its members and the trust of its clients, building a unique model where members, clients, and partners jointly shape the future of the mining sector. Its success also relies on the daily dedication of its passionate team and employees, who drive innovation and excellence.
